showered & sunday's

last weekend we hosted our first bridal shower in our backyard. does this mean i am getting old? well, either way it was for my sisters good friend from college, and it was awesome. perfect excuse to eat fabulously and drink on a sunday, too easy. nothing is more rewarding than planning a party or event and watching it all come together in the end. and yes, i know that is nerdy of me, however i can't help it. the theme was 50's housewives, complete with costumes, candy cigarettes, dirty games and an ironing board bar, naturally.
